Many years passed, and the reason for the ancient civilisation's downfall was all but forgotten. Blue Dragon's story begins in the tiny village of Talta, located in a remote corner of the world where violet clouds have ominously appeared every year fro the past 10 years, bringing with them great chaos and destruction.

Blue Dragon is an epic role-playing game which revolves around a boy named Shu and a selection of his friends. These unlikely heroes possess miraculous strength and magical power to control phantom shadows that mirror the actions of their masters. So, lead your friends on an amazing journey through an immense and fantastic world. Empowered by Shadow Creatures, your party sets out on a bold adventure to reveal the truth about the mysterious Nene and possibly save the world!

Why I can sometimes hate J-RPG

Arakazi from from Scotland, 23rd March, 2008

First of all I'm going to say that I have been a fan of Japanese RPGs since Final Fantasy 7 came out. I enjoy the simplicity of the games and the I like a good story. This game however is so cute and childish that I felt embaressed to play it. This is definately one for the kids with its shallow and iritating characters and silly storyline. The graphics are ok everything is sharp and well defined even if it will remind you of a pre-school cartoon. The voice acting is average although I was too busy cringing at the dialogue to pay too much attention. The gameplay is the typical menu driven system you get from J-RPG's. In the hour or so I played this game I found it pretty easy and not much of a challenge. If it wasn't for the cutesy graphics and the iritating characters and silly plot I might of played it a little longer, but I felt like I was playing with a childs toy so I put it back into the mail and went to find something manly to do.

Ok

A Customer from Nottingham, 14th August, 2008

This game is ok if you like turn based fighting which unfortunately i don't. But that aside the graphics and story are ok although the main character is a bit annoying shouting 'i wont give up' randomly. I'd imagine if you like JRPG then this would be quite a good game.

LuciaandKisuke from from Leicester, 23rd September, 2008

When I recieved this title I was looking forward to playing a cool RPG, yet I was disappointed to see that the disc's had scratches on them. When I went to play the first part of the game, the first disc crashed whilest loading. I was unable to play it.

Pretty good.

A Customer from Oxford, 23rd October, 2008

I've rented this game for nearly 2 weeks now. I must say it's pretty good, Not perfect. The dialogue amongst the characters is rubbish. Players are sucked in by the graphics and gameplay, Yes it looks like the game is for the younger generation but if you look beyond that and actually look at it as a game with little or no expectations then it does proof to be rather interesting.

I love this Game

Lardy from from Torquay, 21st October, 2008

I wasn't expecting much from this game until i saw my mate playing it. It looked good so i went out and brought it. I got so addicted to it i played it constantly for weeks. The story is so good it makes you want to play it just to find out the next chapter, lots of twists and suspense. Its basically a kids version of final fantasy. With a huge explorable world and 3 discs worth of missions and side quests this game will keep any RPG fan amused for weeks, possibly months
