Really good!

Ben from Southampton, 9th May, 2007

This film was suprisingly good. A lot better than most of the so called horror junk floating around at the moment e.g. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. It was bleak and chilling and managed to make a small, mutant calf seem threatening. It's sad that most people see films that take time to introduce characters and settings as 'slow.' I don't know when Michael Bay style editing, men in skin masks and screaming girls became scary, but it sucks. This was a refreshing horror film that should have seen a cinematic release.

Low budget but good at times

DJM666 from from Walsall, 14th November, 2007

A quite lifeless and slow movie for the first 45-minutes, but in the second-half of the movie both the tension and pace pick up and it becomes pretty good. It has a small budget – small cast and limited locations (the farmhouse, a caravan, a hospital), but does what it can with the money it was given and has some very good special effects.

Top chiller!

darren dilliway from Essex, 8th June, 2007

Very effective little horror-lots of jump out moments and very tense and creepy. I won't give too much away if you've never heard of it,because the premise would put you off-don't let the naysayers sway you!Honestly,it's excellent!

Excellent!

A Customer from Scotland, 13th March, 2007

I watched this with my 16 year old son--he had the usual attitude--if mum chose this, it'll be crap...however, he loved this movie! It's really atmospheric and actually very creepy...the scuttling mutant cow fetuses are fab! I'd defintely recommend this one.

moooooooooooooo

A Customer from Leeds, 4th November, 2008

for such a small budget the cast and crew have made an incredible attempt at pulling out all the chill factor. decent script and acting/dialogue and a real sense of eerieness throughout provide a great little chiller, what makes it so effective is the realness of the characters and backdrops. Takes a bit to get going but you are interested enough to stay with it. deserves 3 and a half really.

I was a bit sceptical if i was going to like this and i first i thought is this all about a farmer and his cows? But i was surprised to get into it and enjoy it. I would not say it was scary but a good story in in plases gory. Not bad!
