T.W.A.T.

After being sent this and Stealth I have had a gut full of macho american nonsense. SWAT is certainly full of it and Colin Farrell does a great job of playing a complete tosser. The only thing that saves this dross is Samuel L Jackson...Michelle Rodriguez always plays the hard b*tch and it wears extremely thin. She really needs a slap. This coupled with LL Cool J who likes exposing his abdominal muscles whenever he can makes for one annoying watch. Nice transfer to HD but I've come to realise that there is so much more that makes a good movie than a nice picture. 1 star for the good picture. 0 stars for the actual movie itself.

the first film i watched with the new amplifier, was a little disappointed it was uncompressed pcm not true hd or dts ma hd. however, even though i was still wearing in my speakers and had it down low for 10 days, i was so totally impressed with the immersive sound stage it created, truly awesome. if you dont have the correct setup for this, maybe get yourself down the local library and find it on VHS. the film itself....

What it says on the box

Don't expect anything but some entertainment. This is enjoyable stuff, but there is nothing in the plot or characters that will linger with you for long. There is nothing particularly wrong with that and if you have kids too young for Die Hard they won't complain about it. Colin Farrell is always good to watch and Samuel L Jackson adds some class so sit back and enjoy, just don't expect what it never pretends to deliver.
