different & very good

Missed the series on the tv as it was shown quite late at night. Lent a friends 1st half boxset & got hooked so rented the 2nd half of the series. This is different to the normal sci fi shows as there is an ongoing story of the 2 brothers & their family history. You get a different story for each episode so it never gets boring going over the same stuff each time. Some episodes were really quite spooky/scary. Well worth a watch, I bought the complete series in the end and got other family members hooked too.

Enjoyable

I used to love the formula used in Buffy and Angel. There's nothing wrong with a formula, sometimes it makes the format less hard work to watch. Now then, kind of a mixture of X-files meets Buffy. Some of the episodes are scary since they play on our primal fears, scarecrows, hill billies etc. Camera work is pretty good, and there is a sense of fun and light heartedness within the series. Got the first half of series and watched them all in 2 days. Now looking forward to the second half of the series. As long as you don't take it too seriously this is a lot fun.

supernatural season 1 pt 2

i have to say i was rather reluctant to watch this series but my sister raves about it so i thought id give it a go and im glad i did.this series grabs you from the word go and i can tell you when you have watched one disc you want to watch the next.it thrilling,exciting and most of all its got a good story and characterization.in fact you think you know the whole story how wrong can u be with plot twists galore that kick in half way through season 1 all i can say is its a brilliant series and i cant wait to get my next disc.so if you want a series with a good story and leaves you begging for more,and not many series does that these days,rent this series i highly reccommend it .
