In X-Men: The Official Game, players are able to control Wolverine, Iceman and Nightcrawler as they travel across unique environments. It is up to you to try and win an epic struggle to save mutant-kind against the X-Mens old adversary The Brotherhood, as led by Magneto. Gamers will be able to experience Nightcrawler's acrobatics, surf through the air on Iceman's ice slide and unleash Wolverine's unbreakable metal alloy adamantium claws on some unexpecting foes.

Players are also able to experience events leading up to the X-Men: The Last Stand feature film and beyond. The game explains Nightcrawler's mysterious absence from the movie. X-Men fans will be glad to know the game replicates every aspect of the X-Men universe, including costumes, enemies and even the voice of Patrick Stewart (who plays the role of Professor Charles Xavier, leader of the X-Men). You can also explore famous settings from the movie, such as Alkali Lake, Dark Cerebro and the Statue of Liberty.

X-Men: The Official Game lets players face off against villains from the film and then some. The gameplay offers stealth-style action, time-based missions and melee fighting that will undoubtedly have gamers glued to their screens. Players can also experience control over their heroes like never before, as they increase their characters superpowers over time through the Mutant Evolution System.

Poor

A Customer from Bristol,Southwest, 2nd July, 2006

This game is as poor as they come. This game is not using the 360 at all i would say its using a tenth of the power the 360 has to offer, The levels of the game itself are repetitive and very linear, every character seems the same. pull this grab that kill him/her. overall worth a rent for die hard xmen fans and people after gamer points. If you want GP's though be prepared suffer for your next 1000.

It's all the same....

A Customer from Exeter, England, 9th June, 2006

Basically your only 3 different characters through out the 20ish levels with each character (Iceman, Wolverine, Nightcrawler (teleporting guy) being set specific levels. Firstly you go through the training missions and just progress through the game by completing it on a harder difficulty you get better upgrades etc. Its tricky in places but as I say its the same thing over again, worth a rent but definitely not a buy. :)

Xmen

A Customer from London, 22nd October, 2008

Hmm? This was pretty fun, the graphics are not that bad ether. The combat moves are solid, each character has its own unique fighting style. Witch is no surprise! The story, was also a bit of fun! The main thing, is the achievements! Just like any other movie game. They are easy to unlock- you just need to play for awhile.

X-men done badly

Brown from from York, 12th August, 2008

This game is good for about the first 10 mins but is just hiding one of the most repetertive games i have ever played. The 3 characters you get to use are just repertertive button bashing. The game does not even follow the story line of the film it is meant to be following which dictates how poorly this game was made. The graphics early ps2 at best and shows how not to make a game. The only official thing about this game is that it is one the the worst movi-video games i have seen
