Gets better in the time travel episodes

A Customer from England, 21st July, 2005

In between boring soap opera some genious episods such as the Borg, good time travel episods and setting up for the much better third series.

Classic Star Trek

Gordon Haynes from Essex, 13th October, 2005

I loved season 2 it had 2 of my all time favourite Enterprise episodes, Carbon Creek & A night in sickbay are well worth watching. In my opinion Enterprise was underrated by Paramount as the American ratings were probably not as good as they hoped for. I believe it was more popular in the UK as the Brits as a rule do like a good storyline which this series has in abundance. The only really bad episode is the very Last of the series, which I felt let the fans & the cast down. From what I have read several cast members were not in the least amused & I can’t say I blame them. Overall though I thoroughly recommend this series if like me you are a fan of Star Trek.

Season Two a Great stance for things to come.

A Customer from Huddesfield, England, 19th October, 2005

Jonathan Archer is back at the helm of Enterprise for an explosive opening to season two. Bias I may be as I am a fan of Star Trek but I have to admit Enterprise is the best of them all. With a good start to season two I can only hope the following episodes live up to expectations.

Trek is back and worth a look..........

DVDguyDave from , 3rd October, 2005

The latest (& last ?), Star Trek series is worth looking at. It is set pre Captain Kirk & Mr Spock (by about 110 years) and helps introduce what any Trek fan or viewer are familiar with (Klingons, Transporters, Warp Speed etc). The first 2 years are a little hit and miss, Year 3 is long and involved with a year long story which does stretch the viewer a lot! Year 4 is the best, more of the material that is the bread and butter of Star Trek with lots continuity & reference to the future events we have already seen or heard! The only let down, the last episode of year 4 is a little weak and disjointed and the fact there is no year five despite year 4 being its strongest and best series!! To appreciate the series fully, view all discs in order and be patient with years 1 & 2!!

Disappointing

gresmond from from Retford, 8th May, 2008

I was hoping for an improvement over Season 1 but that was not to be. It almost seems that Paramount did not allow a large enough budget for this series. Some of the story lines were very poor and did not match the acting abilities of certain cast members. As a result I don't feel inclined to order Series 3.

Why was it cancelled?

Got to admit I was never much of a trecky before this! Loved the first series the second even better. Refreshing to see not everything has to be put through the deflector dish on the front!!! Liked the crew, like the story line!!! Great watching!!

Captain Archer rules

A Customer from Surrey, UK, 14th July, 2007

What a great series that got a lot of unnecessary bad press. Interesting characters - there was Hoshi but you can't have everything! The stories were good and I liked the aliens and worlds they explored.

Not as bad 2nd time round

Andrew Lane from Birmingham City .ENGLAND, 29th May, 2007

I did not like this show when Ch4 aired it sometime back, but feel its worth viewing again, some episodes drag a little, and feel as if they were 'Padding' the season out,and a bit naughty having the Borg episode, but it works well, and overall not as bad as I first thought.Well worth renting..!!
