sick, sick,, sick

Being a fan of horror stories, this intrigued me by the description. its one of those films that you just have to watch till to the end hoping that it explains itself. Unfortuantly it doesnt, and is just plain sick and brutal. please dont waste a evening watching it. Truly a bad movie and just leaves a bad taste in your mouth!

Misogynistic…and a little bit rubbish

Sugartots from , 29th June, 2009

I’m not particularly sensitive about women’s rights etc, but this was one of the most offensive films I have ever, ever seen. You wouldn’t have to know the difference between post-feminism and a post in the ground to realise that whoever wrote and directed this film has a big, big problem with women. I watched the extras, half expecting there to be a commentary on the film was an analogy for the way that men objectified and subjected women and so on, but no! If that doesn’t put you off, even with the misogyny removed, this was a pretty poor film. You had to suspend your disbelief from the outset, not just to accept the initial horror twist (which is the same in any horror film) but to try and understand why any of the characters would respond to the situation in the way portrayed. There’s very little suspense and some of the details of the script come across as though they were hastily added on post-its after filming was underway (for example, how they decide what happens when the girl bites someone, and what they decide to do about it…). I wouldn’t recommend this film, unless you hate women and love bad films, in which case it will be perfect for you!

awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Customer from ENGLAND, 30th June, 2009

This was a terrible film and not often i say that. Basically a girl thats supposedly dead gets raped. Its like THE RING meets the ACCUSED. Last 5 minutes was best. It was just an awfully sick storyline. I understand horrors are sick and i love SAW and all that, but to rape a woman with not much else happening through the film was a bad idea and a boring storyline. I'd avoid this one and also that other rubbish film TEETH.

Dead silly

This is so stupid i found myself laughing where i think i should have either been horrified or scared.Really simple story, two teenage boys find the body of a naked woman in the basement of a disused hospital who appears to be dead, thats until she starts moving. The rest of the film is two or more teeny lads humping a dead girl who also has a nasty habit of attacking people if not restrained propperly. It didn't scare me or shock but i did have a good laugh.

Not too shabby.

Not the best zombie film that I've seen, but certainly not the worst either. I have to admit that, as a woman the zombie sex was a little unnerving but, as I chose to rent it I stuck with it and actually quite enjoyed the film. Last 5-10 mins make the film worth it if you can stick with it.

It's sick Jim but not as we know it...

Whipster from from Shropshire, 18th January, 2010

What a terrible waste of an original concept for a horror movie (obviously the extreme end of 'dead' has been explored/exploited already - see 'Nekromantik' - if you really want controversial) - a 'zombie' thats sexy enough for someone to actually 'want'. But unfortunately this movie is a let down in just about every department. For a start the characters are generally the dumbest american high school kid stereotypes that you could possibly imagine. Then, the action is incredibly dull and tedious and there's no explanation of events - the whys or whats. The storyline, outside the concept of the deadgirl obviously, is just way too unbelievable. Events just wouldn't have happened that way. I can't help thinking that if the Director/Producer had been a bit more 'brave/out-there' we could have had a really original and effective horror outing. What we unfortunately have is a boring, lifeless (excuse the pun) and uninteresting movie. 1 star.

dead girl

AngelOracle from , 13th January, 2010

this was a good film although it is a little bit sick the makers of this movie could have done alot more with it too many unanswered questions for instance how did this girl come to be in the situation she was in in the first place which sort of spoils the film
