One of Steels' best

I enjoy romantic movies so I have watched most of the Danielle Steel ones and I have to say this was a bit different, with a really complelling storyline away from the usual Danielle Steel setting of middle class America or Hollywood. I guess in a way this is a coming of age drama though it goes way beyond that. If you like romance and tragedy but want a more meaty film with a strong story then you will love this one.

I love reading her books and now I get to see them. Great for an afternoon of curling up on the sofa and forgetting.

If you like romance and tragedy, this the film. For those who apreciate Danielle Steel's, this is one of the best.

I have read Danielle Steel's books in the past, some I have enjoyed others not so much. In the dvd 'Message From Nan ' it s a little different , I suppose, in that it depicts the war in Vietnam . But still a little unreal.
