Brutal, unforgiving and deeply addictive.

This game is hard; bloody hard; permanent character death hard. If this was any other game you'd throw your wiimote at the TV and /ragequit. But somehow Radiant Dawn keeps you coming back; the game isn't so much turn based, as it's a series of fiendish strategy puzzles. Each turn that you complete without losing another unique unit (forever, unreplaced, no respawn) is a triumph. It's these little triumphs that keep you coming back and keep you hooked despite the difficulty. It's a good 40+ hours of gameplay, all of which is highly enjoyable, this is easily the best strategy game out on the Wii right now.

Sorry to anyone waiting

I've had this game rented for over a month and have amassed well over 200 hours of game time on it, 78 clocked, but the amount of restarting, backtracking and other such things which only my Wii Clock can count is... well, astonishing. As mentioned above, this is a heavy stratergy game with stupidly high difficultly. You need to have a good instinct for a decent character and focus all your love and attention into them and gain as much EXP as possible. The story, for myself, is absoloutely engaging and a perfect way to say goodbye to the characters we loved in Path of Radiance, all of which return (only Largo is not playable). Plus the game has mild Game+ branching story points (hence the elongated rental) in which you can find out more about the villains and perhaps even recruit one to your team at the end. Superb game for all stratergy fans out there. This is quite possibly my favorite game of all time. If I wasn't immigrating next month, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
